Hazbin Hotel's Showrunner Is Aware of Your Second Season Predictions — And She Has Good News

The highly-awaited Season 2 of the musical adult cartoon Hazbin Hotel arrives on the streaming platform this week, and audience theories has been widespread.

Season 1 introduces a diverse group of characters residing in Hell and Heaven, sets them at odds accompanied by musical numbers about their clashes, and establishes tense rivalries and emotional bonds that drive audience devotion.

The community's expectations for season 2 differ greatly, but certain threads emerge over and over: Will a fan-favorite character escape his tormentor? Might we learn more about the mysterious "deal" affecting Alastor the Radio Demon? Might certain characters' relationships evolve?

"Obviously, I don't make the show with audience demands as the main goal," the creator stated earlier this year. "However I believe that me being a fan of my own show implies there's a lot of it just inherently. I also want to see these things, and I want some of these things to occur, and obviously some of these things are meant to happen in the show!"

The creator says her long-term vision is for five seasons of Hazbin Hotel. Seasons 3 and 4 have already been green-lit by Prime Video and A24, which produce the series.

That could imply viewers have to wait years for some of the major resolutions — but they could be shocked at how fast season 2 moves, and how many of what they're waiting for unfolds this season.

"I believe people are going to get a lot out of it," the creator notes. "There are several debut moments. I think we receive some incredible disclosures, some fascinating origin tales, and even just simple things, [like] I hope this character gets a song. […] Audiences will experience much more singing from the characters we didn't get to hear before."

She's certainly aware of the theories and desires about the upcoming season — particularly in the form of fan bingo cards.

"I've come across a few fans make a bingo card about season 2," she says. "Naturally I won't share it, but I've actually done a few items, and nearly every one of them have almost a bingo. I thought, Oh, if you put this [event] in this spot, it would be a bingo. So that makes me think we accomplish much [of what fans are waiting for in this season], because I was like, Oh, there's multiple potential bingos on this card. So that brings me joy."

Hazbin Hotel season 2 premieres on Prime Video on October 29.
